Pet of the Week - May 23, 2011

It is rather ironic to have the name Lucky and end up living in an animal shelter, but hopefully this female feline will get adopted soon and earn her name. Wide eyed and beautifully marked, this brown and white tabby is more than ready to find her "forever" home. She is a year and a half old and her spunky personality and curious nature makes her a definite catch. Lucky had lived with an elderly owner who was no longer capable of caring for her. She had been rescued from a tree as a young kitten, so it is safe to say that Lucky’s life has not been dull. Since she has never lived with other animals or young children, Lucky would be best suited for a quiet, nurturing home where she can be spoiled rotten! Homeward is located at 18800 Woodinville-Snohomish Road. New adoption hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 12-6 p.m. Call (425) 488-4444 or
