Pet of the Week - June 18, 2012

Gidget POWIt’s hard to be at the shelter when you are a quiet, reserved gal as I often get overlooked.

The volunteers love me and they have seen how I have gone from being a very scared teenager to a more self-confident 1-year-old.

If I had my very own humans to adopt me, I could get to know and trust them, and the next thing you know we’d be best friends!

I love other kitties so if you are looking for a companion for your current cat, I promise to be a great best friend. If you are a quiet person (or family) who is nurturing and would just give me a chance, I would love to get to know you.

I have the softest fur in the world and I love to play!

Come meet Gidget at Homeward Pet. We’re located at 13132 NE 177th Place in Woodinville.

Our shelter is open for visitors between noon and 6 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.

See all our adoptable dogs, cats, kittens and puppies at www.homewardpet.org.

If you’re not ready to add a pet to your family, you can still help homeless animals like Gidget by making a donation to Homeward Pet.  Visit www.homewardpet.org/donate for more information.
