smudgyHave you ever met a cat that can talk and eat at the same time? Well, Smudgy can! Smudgy is a dapper 12 year young tuxedo that would love to have a deep and meaningful conversation with you. Sometimes he’ll even listen to you talk! Smudgy likes to fill his days by watching birds and squirrels out the window, scaling his tall cat trees, playing under the water faucet, and lounging with his people. Smudgy can be shy and uncertain in new environments so he would prefer a calm home with teens and adults that let him set the pace. Once Smudgy gets settled into his forever home, he will show you that he’s a character and a half! Smudgy did live with his littermate, but hasn’t lived with any other cats. Any introductions to new furry friends should be done slowly. Are you ready to meet this quirky fella? Come down to Homeward and meet him!

POW Nico

Nico’s fun personality is larger than life! Nico is a 6 year old Miniature Pinscher who wants to lose some pounds and he needs a buddy to help him crush that goal. He will be a great workout partner – he loves to go for walks, play, and once he’s gotten in better shape, hiking is on his list of things to do. He’s always wanted to go on outdoor adventures! Nico is looking for a home with just teens and adults because he does like his space when it’s time to eat or play with his toys. He enjoys the company of other dogs but we don’t know if he’s met cats before, so slow introductions are recommended. This bright and bubbly guy is ready to trim down and enjoy life to its fullest. Be the one to help him reach his goals – come meet this handsome guy today!

POW AbigailThere's something about Abigail. It could be her beautiful coat, her loud purr, or maybe it's her loving personality. Well, it's definitely all of those fabulous traits, and more! Abigail is an affectionate 8 year old brown and black tabby. She's lived a fast-paced life, and now she's ready to slow down and relax. When she's not snoozing in a warm lap, or being by her person's side, you can find her playing with toys and looking for a snack. Abigail is hoping you'll come meet her and take her home. She's really wonderful and is a staff and volunteer favorite! Because she's all about a relaxing lifestyle, she would like a family with just adults and to be the only animal in the home. eMMADo you need a teeny tiny little ball of fluff in your life? Yes, you do! And Miss Emma is that little ball of fluff. Emma is a 4 year old long haired Chihuahua with the cutest stubby tail and eyes big enough to lose yourself in. Emma is big on snuggling, it’s one of her favorite past times. But when it’s time to play, she’s really into that, too! It may be the cutest thing of all time when she grabs a stuffed toy and bounces around the room with it. Little Emma is used to a quiet house, so she’d love to keep that tradition going. She’d prefer her new family be just teens and adults. If you have room in your heart for this special lady, come and adopt her today!
