Pet of the Week - Copper

Copper

Check out this one-of-a-kind dog friend we’ve got here waiting for you! Copper is looking for his person to help him learn to trust and guide him through growing in his self-confidence.

This 2-year-old terrier mix is a sensitive soul who just wants a family that will nurture him, give him a warm and comfortable home, and be his sidekick through life.

Once he trusts you, Copper bonds strongly and is hoping to find a home where his humans are around often. He gets lonely when he’s alone—he’s got a lot of love to share!

Copper lived with another dog before and did well. He also has a good history with cats if they give him plenty of space. Copper is looking for an adult-only home. If you’re ready to bring a sweet pup home, come meet Copper today!

Homeward Pet is located at 13132 N.E. 177th Place in Woodinville and is open for visitors between noon and 6 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.

Pet of the Week - Sami

Don’t let Sami know she’s technically double digits in age, because she has no idea!

This 10-year-old gal can keep up with the best of them! She’s spunky, active, playful and very friendly.

Sami loves to chat with her people and curl up in laps. In fact, she proves that age is nothing but a number.

Sami is looking for a home where she’s the only cat so all the window watching, pets, playtime and treats can be just for her!

She’s never lived with a dog, so introductions should be done slowly. If you’re ready to meet the new love of your life, come be charmed by Sami today!

Homeward Pet is located at 13132 NE 177th Pl. in Woodinville and is open for visitors between noon and 6 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.

Pet of the Week —Theodore

Theodore

He may be named after one of those cartoon chipmunks, but this guy is anything but chipmunk in size.

At 115 pounds, Theodore the Great Dane/German Shepherd mix is large and in charge! He’s around 18-months-old and has an enthusiasm for life and adventure that is infectious!

Always smiling and always up for anything, Theodore is a pure joy to be around. He’s full of spunk and energy and is looking for an adopter who is active and will provide him with plenty of exercise, playtime and mental stimulation.

Any kids in the home should be older and able to handle an extra-large and sometimes rambunctious dog.

Theodore is not appropriate for a condo or apartment. Come fall in love with Theodore today!

Homeward Pet is located at 13132 N.E. 177th Place in Woodinville and is open for visitors between noon and 6 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.

Pet of the Week — Junebug

Junebug

If you’re more into those cats that act a bit like dogs, then Junebug may be your match! This 2-year-old gal is extremely personable and loves interacting with people.

Whether it’s playing with toys, getting cheek rubs or working on her tricks, she’s happy to be doing it all! She quickly learned “high five” and “sit” and can’t wait to learn more.

Find a treat she loves and she’s putty in your hands! We don’t know if Junebug’s lived with other cats or dogs before, so any introductions should be done slowly. Because she can get overstimulated with petting, she’s looking for an experienced home with just teens and adults who will pay attention to her body language and interact with her appropriately.

Be ready to be wowed by Junebug’s smarts and her engaging personality. Come and meet her today!

Homeward Pet is located at 13132 N.E. 177th Place in Woodinville and is open for visitors between noon and 6 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.

Pet of the Week - Sassafras

                       Sassafras

If you think only dogs play fetch, you’d be mistaken. Let Sassafras show you how fetch is really done!

She darts around the room catching her toys —and she’s currently at a return rate of about 99%.

At 14 years young, Sassafras will make a super-fun companion. When she’s not getting in her steps she’s busy keeping laps warm. She loves to snuggle up and act as a furry, purring heater for her human.

Sassafras hasn’t lived with other cats or dogs before, so introductions should be done very slowly. Because she can sometimes get overstimulated with petting, she’s looking for a home with just teens and adults.

Come play fetch with Sassafras today!
