Laura POWAre you in the market for an active and loving medium sized dog? Meet Laura! Somehow this sweet girl found herself lost and wandering on an Eastern Washington highway. Fortunately, a kind hearted rescuer spotted her and picked her up.  Now safe and sound at Homeward Pet, this two-year-old darling is on the lookout for her new family. Laura weighs 51 pounds, so she’s just right for someone who is looking for a lab type dog that isn’t too big. She is compatible with other animals and absolutely adores all people.

Laura will need time to slowly acclimate to her new home, and she’s seeking an owner who can be home often for her so she can work on feeling secure when the time comes to be alone. She loves her humans so much that the thought of them leaving is very stressful for her.

Laura loves to please, so she will be a natural for the training classes that are included with her adoption. She’s looking to brush up on her manners and she’s ready to impress. Laura may also need a refresher on house training, but once she’s given a chance to learn the routine, she’ll have it down pat.

Laura loves exploring the outdoors, so she would like a fenced yard with her new home. She would make a fine hiking or running companion. She’s ready to find her forever person, and all she needs is a second chance. Her friends at Homeward Pet are standing by ready to introduce her so she has the chance to demonstrate what a special dog she is.

Homeward Pet is now located at 13132 NE 177th Place in Woodinville, www.homewardpet.org.
