Hello readers – as you’ll remember in our December 25 edition, we’ll be mixing up our Editor’s Explorations the last Monday of each month with Editor’s Introductions.  We think this is a great way for you to get to know some of the talented staff that contributes to the Woodinville Weekly.  Enjoy this week’s column and meet Karin Hopper, our General Manager.

Meet Karin
General Manager
Notable Accomplishments: 
Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer.  Giving back to other children the voice that my two adopted children had.
My work week always includes: 
Ensuring ads are created, paper is laid out, and sent to the printer.
My favorite outdoor activity is: 
Walking. I live vicariously through architectural design.
My favorite dish to make or order in a restaurant is:
Make: Pretty much anything from homemade pasta to roasted veggies (I can bake, but it isn’t my passion)
Order: I love trying creative ways chefs present vegetables.
My favorite book is:
History of Architectural Conservation by Jukka Jokilehto
I’m happiest when I am:
With my family and friends, talking, eating and sharing.
When it comes to electronics, I can’t live without these apps on my iPhone:
iBooks.  I love being able to transfer devices (iPhone, iPad and computer) and be at the right spot in a book.

Continue restoration of our 1905 Officer’s Quarters duplex at Fort Stevens, Oregon and rent out one half of the Victorian unit, so that the following year we can return to Europe.
