Molbak’s Blooms & Tunes to kick-off Share Your Harvest

  • Written by Woodinville Weekly Staff

Molbak’s is throwing a party to kick-off their annual Share Your Harvest (SYH) food drive and you’re invited! SYH is an annual community service program which benefits Hopelink’s local food banks. Gardeners are asked to bring their extra garden-fresh produce to the store Saturdays, Aug. 9 – Sept. 27. No need to pre-wash; just bag it and bring it. It’s that easy. Molbak’s will take care of the rest! Apples, beets, broccoli, carrots, all herbs, onions, oranges and tomatoes are especially appreciated.

And this has been a great year for growing vegetables and fruits so we hope to collect more food than ever before and help feed the hungry in our community.”

And what better way to kick-off SYH than to throw a party? Blooms & Tunes celebrates summer with great live music performed by Robbie Christmas and The Side Project; sweets, savories and items fresh off the grill available to taste and purchase; and fun for all ages. The party starts at noon and goes until 5 p.m. Admission is free. Let the good times bloom!
