Sammamish Valley celebrates spring on Mother’s Day

  • Written by Woodinville Weekly Staff

Come to the Sammamish Valley to celebrate spring on Mother’s Day weekend, May 10 and 11. Enjoy the beautiful Sammamish Valley in springtime, the start of the growing season. Fill your spring garden with local plant starts, including tomatoes and other vegetables, herbs and lavenders all chosen by local farmers to succeed in our area. Visit Washington state’s original CSA farm and learn how you can be a member. Tour the farms and talk with farmers about growing successfully in your garden. Attend a class or watch a demonstration. Check out local artists. There will be something for everyone, moms included.

The participating farms and businesses are Apple Farm Village, Dr. Maze’s Farm, Minea Farm, Root Connection Farm and Woodinville Lavender. Each farm will have its own schedule of events during the valley celebration. Visit for more information on the events at each valley stop.
