Primary election results

Preliminary results are in for the primary election, in which the two candidates who receive the most votes (and at least 1 percent of the votes cast in the race) will progress to the general election. The Secretary of State’s office and King County Elections will keep counting ballots until Aug. 19, when the election results are certified.

Here are the election results as of Aug. 7.
