Woodinville seeks public feedback on future city improvement projects

  • Written by Woodinville Weekly Staff

The City of Woodinville is seeking input from the community about needed capital improvements, such as roads, parks, sidewalks and storm water improvements.

To submit your ideas on future projects you would like to see in Woodinville, visit our online comment form at www.ci.woodinville.wa.us/ContactUs/Capital_Project_Nomination.asp.

A capital improvement project is a major, one-time expenditure for roads, non-motorized transportation infrastructure, parks, storm water infrastructure and other city facilities with an estimated useful life of five or more years and a total cost of $50,000 or more.

The CIP, which is updated every two years, is used to identify the city’s priorities and to manage the physical development of the community consistently with the city’s expected revenue and with its comprehensive plan.
Visit the city’s website at www.ci.woodinville.wa.us/Work/CapitalImprovementPlan.asp for complete details on the Woodinville Capital Improvement Plan.

For additional details, contact Assistant to the City Manager Alexandra Sheeks at (425) 877-2266.
