The City of Woodinville is offering a grant-funding opportunity to eligible non-profits, businesses and governmental organizations serving the Woodinville community.

The Tourism Promotion Grant has an estimated total of $55,000 available for the 2015 budget year. Funding will be provided for activities and expenditures designed to increase tourism as outlined by the Revised Code of Washington (RCW) 67.28.

Grant funding will be awarded based on the applicant’s demonstration of how their program or project promotes a positive image of Woodinville as a destination place, attracts visitors, has broad-based community appeal, and other criteria. Applicants will need to provide an estimated number of tourists that will visit Woodinville annually as a result of their proposed activity or initiative.

Applications are available on the city’s website at www.ci.woodinville.wa.us, or by calling the City at (425) 489-2700.
Applications are due by Wednesday, Sept. 10 at 4 p.m. Grants are expected to be awarded in October 2014.
