Help raise a glass, and funds, for Woodinville Heritage Society Saturday, September 10, come celebrate the harvest season with wineries that showcase acclaimed wines from Washington state.
The event is hosted by the Woodinville Heritage Society (WHS) with the help of Paul Thomas, founder of Paul Thomas Winery, and will feature nine wines from Woodinville’s Small Lot Co-Op wine partners, specifically Kana Winery, Hollywood Hill Vineyards and Castillo de Feliciana Winery.
"We are delighted that the event’s proceeds will benefit the community’s beloved Woodinville Heritage Society," comments Paul Thomas.
"This event is a great opportunity to talk with the winemakers, hear about this year’s grape crop, and learn how Small Lot Co-Op can help your winery succeed."
The event runs from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, September 10.
Nine delicious wines will be offered, choose to sample your favorite six and cleanse your palate with a light assortment of snacks.
Make your reservation online; a fee of $20 (includes six, 2-oz pours) per person will be collected on-site at the event.
Cash or check, sorry no credit cards.
WHS Board Member Lucy DeYoung says, "We are very excited to participate in this great partnership with Molbak’s and Woodinville wines.
"We will be using the funds raised from the wine tasting to create a sign for our new location.
"In the meantime, we invite the public to stop in and see us Sundays from 1-4 p.m. until Labor Day and then we are open the first Sunday of the month until Memorial Day."
The WHS’s mission is to acquire, preserve and perpetuate the artifacts and history of greater Woodinville.
Bottles of wine will be available for purchase.
