Schedule of events on July 4th

• 10 a.m.

Children’s decorating event at Marina Park Pavilion

Tattoos, flags and tons of fun for the family

• 11:30 a.m.

Children’s walking parade begins at Market and Central.  Pets are welcome and encouraged. Children will start and finish at Marina Park.

• noon

Old-fashioned downtown parade starts at Market and Central Way. Theme is “Celebrating Our Diversity.” The route can be viewed above or from the grandstand at the intersection of Lake and Central.

• 1 - 10:30 p.m.

Join your friends and neighbors at Marina Park! Food and sponsor vendors in the park or bring your own picnic basket.

• 3 - 10 p.m.

Music in the Park

• 10:15 p.m.

Fantastic fireworks display off of Marina Park with viewing from most downtown waterfront parks.

The Marina parking lot will open after 1:30 p.m. In the evening, once the Marina parking lot is full there will be no entrance into the park.

After the fireworks show drivers will wait until the pedestrians are cleared from the park and traffic can move safely from the lot.

Bring a flashlight. No dogs allowed and no alcohol in the parks.
