Summer fun starts at Molbak’s

July is sizzling and the summer fun is just starting at Molbak’s.

Local artist and instructor Nicole Stremlow Monahan is offering a botanical drawing class on Saturday, July 12, 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. She’ll demonstrate a fast and fun method of ink drawing and watercolor wash just perfect for capturing your garden or flowers on canvas. The 90-minute workshop is $45 and includes all supplies needed and personalized instruction. Suitable for all skill levels, the novice artist as well as the more experienced. image003Todd Rosendahl from Pond Boss will show you how to transform a container into a fountain in just four easy steps on Saturday, July 12. Stop by any time between 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and discover how simple and inexpensive it is to add a water feature to your garden or patio. This event is free.

Washington State University Master Gardener plant clinics are being held the first three Saturdays of each month through September at Molbak’s in Woodinville. Bring your gardening questions and plant samples to the clinic and get answers from trained, WSU volunteers. Clinic hours are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Clinics are free and open to the public.
