Police Beat - 9/25/17

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED – 131ST AVE NE
Two subjects were cited for this offense during the week.
 
LARCENY, TAKEN FROM AUTO- 142ND AVE NE
Per the victim she parked her car and ran into her apartment briefly. When she returned unknown person(s) had stolen her IPad and miscellaneous items.
 
CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE FOR DISPOSAL – 140TH AVE NE
An employee found a plastic baggie containing suspected narcotics and turned in to the police.
 
CRIMINAL WARRANT, MISDEMEANOR – N WOODINVILLE WAY
Subject arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant out of Bothell.
 
PROWLER, VEHICLE – NE 162ND ST
Unknown suspect(s) rummaged through the victim’s unlocked car. Unknown at this point if anything was taken.
 
LARCENY, SHOPLIFT – 140TH AVE NE
Per the reporting party a male walked into the store, tried on a watch and then walked out wearing the watch. When confronted by the employee the suspect threatened to kill the reporting party if he called the police.
 
BURGLARY, RESIDENTIAL – 181ST ST
Per the victim when she arrived home she noted that the front door was unlocked although she did not see any signs of a forced entry. Further she noticed that some of the closet doors were open and thought that strange. At one point, she heard a cell phone coming from another area. At that point, the victim fled the residence and thought she heard footsteps and male voices going down the staircase behind her as she fled.
 
LARCENY, SHOPLIFT – 178TH PLACE
A male stole numerous items, which he concealed on his person. When confronted by store security the male, after passing all points of sale, swung his bag at the security officer and fled the store.
 
FRAUD, ALL OTHER – 175TH ST
Per the victim she was contacted by her credit card company and asked if she was attempting to make a $1,000 purchase at the Woodinville Target. The victim told her credit card company that she was not attempting to make a purchase and was at work. The victim states that she checked her purse and discovered her wallet was missing. Apparently, the victim had eaten lunch at a local restaurant while unknown person(s) stole her wallet from her purse and attempted to use her credit card.
 
IDENTITY, THEFT – 181ST ST.
Per the victim he loaned his card to a friend to purchase items online. At some point, his identity and information was used by unknown person(s) to purchase additional items without his permission.
 
BURGLARY, COMMERCIAL., F/E – NE NORTH WOODINVILLE WY
Unknown suspect(s) removed the lock from the victim’s storage unit and stole multiple items.
 
LARCENY, TAKEN FROM AUTO – 135TH AVE NE
Per the victim she left her purse on the backseat of her car. Unknown suspect(s) broke out the rear window of the car and stole the purse and contents.
