Easy Does It
A movie aficionado in the 15600 block of NE Woodinville-Duvall Road was apparently quite adamant about his/her Redbox selection, using a blunt force instrument on the touchpad instead of the delicate finger touch activating conductance sensing system, thus foiling the resulting electric field (which oscillates at 200-300 kHz) which would have resulted in the successful delivery of the intended DVD.
This person should be considered a menace to all sensing activators, including pedestrian and elevator buttons.
A King County Sheriff’s Office deputy found two females helping themselves to the contents of a donation station in the 16500 block of 124th Avenue NE. This take-out fest came to an abrupt end when one suspect was identified as having a warrant for her arrest, and some suspected methamphetamine was found in her pocket. She was booked into jail for the warrant with drug charges pending.
Crush and Run
Police responded to the report of a drunk driver after a civilian followed him to a gas station near the intersection of 156th Avenue NE and Woodinville-Duvall Road and attempted to take his keys. Our vigilante was caught flat-footed as the car drove away at a high rate of speed, running over his foot as the getaway was made.
The Ultimate Kegger
Unknown suspect(s) cut the lock and stole 12 beer kegs from outside a business in the 14500 block of 148th Avenue NE. Stay tuned for next week’s Police Beat report to see if there are any reports of wild, unruly Woodinville keggers going on.
