There’s nothing like some sudden wealth for increasing a man’s attractiveness to the opposite sex. Our lucky gambler had no trouble enticing two women from the casino bar up to his place in the 18400 block of 142nd Avenue NE for a nightcap. It appears that he threw snake eyes at this point, and the big winners of the night ended up being the two women, who enriched themselves with the man’s laptop, cash, digital camera and cell phone, without even placing any bets.
PICK ME UP BEFORE YOU GO GO
Store employees in the 17600 block of Garden Way NE watched as a female suspect wheeled out a shopping cart full of groceries, conveniently bypassing the cash registers. When confronted by security, she called friends on her cell phone and was picked up by a red Cadillac driven by a male. Nothing like leaving the scene of a crime in style …
PERSISTENCE PAYS OFF
A female suspect was seen on security video trying several car doors in the 18600 block of 141st Avenue NE. Without too many tries, she eventually found an unlocked Jeep and helped herself to a knife, cash, ring and social security card.
C’mon, folks … Don’t make it so easy.
AND THE GOOD NEWS IS ...
… no catalytic converters were stolen this past week. The bad news is that thieves turned their attention to car contents, stealing an assortment of goodies from various locations.
Included in the haul: a tool bag containing money, tools, CDs and a flashlight; an iPAD; charger and sunglasses; a duffel bag containing clothing, medication and an iPod and a purse taken from the front seat of a car after the window was broken out.
In a final insult to add to injury, unknown suspect(s) broke the locking gas caps and siphoned gas from a business truck.
Will car crimes never cease?
