Police Beat - Feb. 17, 2014

ASSAULT, FOURTH DEGREE – HALF MILE SOUTH OF WILMOT PARK.

Victim reported she was walking her dog on the trail when an older male bicyclist passed her and used his open hand to strike her in the left shoulder calling her a derogatory name. 

The victim stated she has seen the cyclist on past walks and he would intentionally aim his bike at her and her dog.

LARCENY – 17600 BLOCK OF 140 AVE NE.

Unknown suspect(s) stole victim’s wallet and contents off a table while he was at the  restaurant.  

LARCENY –13900 BLOCK OF NE 178 PL.

Victim reported a delayed theft that had been captured on video surveillance cameras showing two unknown suspects working together to take and conceal four hand- held game systems and exit the store without paying for them.

Officers were given a license plate on the red Ford Crown Victoria they were driving. 

BURGLARY, COMM.  – 14200 BLOCK OF NE WOODINVILLE-DUVALL RD.

Officers responded to an audible business alarm to find the glass had been removed from a front side door.  Victim reported unknown suspect(s) scattered assorted items throughout the store with an unknown loss at this time.

A K9 unit responded but was unsuccessful in a track. 

FRAUD – 14100 BLOCK OF NE 190 ST.

Unknown suspect(s) used the company’s fuel credit card to make fraudulent transactions. 

MAIL THEFT – 16000 BLOCK OF NE 203rd PL.

Victim reported the theft of several notices from her mailbox by unknown suspect(s).

LARCENY – 14300 BLOCK OF NE WOODINVILLE-DUVALL RD.

Unknown suspect(s) used unknown means to enter victim’s secured vehicle and remove golf clubs, golf cart, tennis racket, shoes and accessories.

LARCENY – 14200 BLOCK OF NE 181 PL.

Victim reported unknown suspect(s) entered his unlocked vehicle and stole a camera, camcorder, scanner, insurance card and registration.

LARCENY – 13600 BLOCK OF NE 175TH ST.

Unknown suspect(s) stole the catalytic converter off the victim’s vehicle that was parked in the parking lot while he was at work.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE REVOKED/SUSPENDED –various locations.

Officers made two arrests during the week for driving while license suspended/revoked. 

One suspect was cited and released and the second suspect was transported to King County Jail.
