Police Beat - Feb. 24, 2014

FRAUD – 18500 BLOCK OF 156 AVE NE.

The victim business reported that a former client had falsified several documents using a stolen identity in order to obtain a lease for a home.

VANDALISM – 15500 BLOCK OF 133 PL NE.

Unknown suspect(s) punctured a hole in the victim’s front tire. 

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE REVOKED/SUSPENDED – 13900 BLOCK OF NE 178 PL.

Officers stopped a male for driving with a suspended license. He was arrested and booked into the King County Jail for an outstanding felony warrant.  

THEFT, OTHER VEHICLE – 15200 BLOCK OF NE 173 ST.

Unknown suspect(s) stole a traile- mounted log splitter that was last seen parked next to the victim’s garage.

LARCENY, SHOPLIFT – 17800 BLOCK OF GARDEN WY NE

A male suspect attempting to steal pet products from the store was confronted outside by store security. He dropped the items and ran away. He was described as a young male with dark blonde hair wearing a black puffy coat and khaki pants. 

CRIMINAL WARRANT, FELONY/ MISDEMEANOR – Officers made additional arrests during the week for outstanding felony and misdemeanor warrants as a result of two separate pedestrian violation contacts. Both subjects were booked into the King County Jail.

LARCENY – 19700 BLOCK OF 144TH AVE NE

Officers contacted a suspicious male loading scrap metal and fire piping into the back of his truck. It was determined he was attempting to steal the metal and possibly siphon gasoline from the company vehicles. He was booked into jail for his outstanding warrant with theft charges pending.
