The City of Woodinville will celebrate its 25th anniversary on March 31, 2018 (The city incorporated on March 31, 1993). The city will host two very exciting events in March to kick off its birthday celebration.
On Saturday, March 10, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Carol Edwards Center, the city will host a community paint day to “paint by numbers” a variety of panels that compose two beautiful murals that will be mounted onto the train trestle on 131st Ave NE, the gateway to the city. The entire community is invited to participate in our community paint day—from businesses to neighbors to friends to fans of Woodinville, all are invited to attend. There will be food, fun, and music and it will be a family friendly environment.
On March 31, from 4-6:30 p.m. at the Hollywood Schoolhouse, the city will host a celebration party for all to enjoy. There will be food, music, and fun plus a special short film will be screened that will unveil our new murals at the heart of Woodinville’s downtown. All are invited and encouraged to attend—this will also be a family-friendly celebration.
Stay tuned for more information to be shared on the city’s website, social media channels, and through your friends and neighbors who are volunteering to help make both days of celebration a success.
