Apply for a Tourism Grant Today

The City of Woodinville encourages organizations to apply for grants to fund special events, programs, and activities that will attract tourists to Woodinville. The total amount of funds available to award in 2019 is $100,000.  State law allows cities to distribute lodging tax revenues specifically for events which promote tourism in the city.
Grant applications are due to the City of Woodinville electronically or by mail no later than Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. Awards are anticipated to be distributed by the City Council in December 2018 and will be funded on a reimbursement basis for events held in 2019.
Guidelines for grant eligible projects can be found on the City of Woodinville’s homepage under news: and on the city’s tourism page: Examples of past projects include city wayfinding signs, Celebrate Woodinville, and marketing programs designed to attract visitors to Woodinville.
Applicants must submit a complete application by the due date that summarizes event/program logistics, outlines a proposed budget, and designates the responsible party for carrying out the event/program.
