Woodinville Police Beat March 28-April 2

LARCENY #1

17600 BLOCK OF GARDEN WAY NE: On March 28 at around 2:07 p.m., deputies were called to a business for a juvenile shoplifter who tried to steal two bottles of rum. The juvenile was cited and released to parents.

LARCENY #2 

17600 BLOCK OF GARDEN WAY NE: On March 28 at approximately 8:47 p.m., deputies were called to a business for a shoplifter who tried to steal a bottle of vodka. Subject was cited and released.

FAMILY DISTURBANCE

18200 BLOCK OF 142 AVE NE: On March 30 at around 12:14 p.m., deputies were called to a residence for a disturbance between a father and his children.

ROAD RAGE

13200 BLOCK OF NE 183 STREET: On March 30 at around 5:21 p.m., deputies were called to the area for two adult males in a fist fight. On arrival, deputies found one male on scene. He said that the fight was over a road rage incident and the other driver was the aggressor. Later deputies received a call from the other party, who said that the other driver was the aggressor. Neither driver wanted to prosecute.

LARCENY #3

14100 BLOCK OF NE WOODINVILLE-DUVALL ROAD: On March 31 at approximately 9 a.m., business employees noticed that a storage container was forcibly entered. Nothing appears to be stolen.

LARCENY# 4

13900 BLOCK OF NE MILL PLACE: On March 31 at approximately 10:10 a/m., deputies were called to a business for a shoplifter that just left the store. Deputies located the shoplifter nearby and the property was recovered. He was identified and released because the business did not want to prosecute.

LARCENY #5

13900 BLOCK OF NE MILL PLACE: On March 31 at approximately 2:55 p.m., deputies were called to a store for a reported shoplift which occurred earlier. Store security watched video and saw a male put 19 boxes of baby formula in a shopping cart and walk out of the store without paying for the formula. Suspect unknown at this time.

LARCENY# 6

17600 BLOCK OF GARDEN WAY NE: On 04/01/20 at approximately 3 p.m., deputies were contacted by store employees about several known subjects who had been consistently shoplifting from their store. The subjects were eventually located and served with trespass warning letters.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS

17900 BLOCK OF 140 AVE NE: On 04/02/20 at about 2:42 p.m., deputies responded to a call of a down subject at the above location. Deputies found a transient from Seattle was laying on the sidewalk, heavily intoxicated and unable to stand or communicate clearly. Subject was taken to the hospital.

LARCENY #7 

14000 BLOCK OF NE WOODINVILLE-DUVALL ROAD:  On 04/02/20 at around 5:45 p.m., deputies were called to a business for a shoplift detail. The subject reportedly stole a bottle of alcohol from the store.  The subject was located nearby. He was identified, cited, and taken to the Metro lot for a ride back to Seattle.
