This is the second year that Fusion has won this particular tournament, and so far the team is two for two in tournament championship wins this summer, recently winning their division in the Kent Cornucopia Cup in July. Coach Tom Economou also took home the award for Best Sportmanship in the tournament division, and added, “I’m really proud of these girls, in two tournaments (seven games) they have allowed only one goal. That’s pretty great soccer.”
