Beresford Receives Scholarship Offer from USC

The plot has thickened in the recruiting battles for Woodinville’s Cade Beresford. The senior left tackle, who committed to Washington State in September, has suddenly been offered a full ride from the mighty USC Trojans.

(Photo by Derek Johnson) “That’s definitely a cool offer, the tradition they have down there,” Beresford said. “When you think football, you think USC. They’re definitely a big team in the Pac-12. But right now, I’m still set on Wazzu. I might take an official [visit] to USC. But right now I want to go to Wazzu.”
When asked of this new development, Woodinville offensive line coach Mike Monan smirked. As a former Husky, Monan has never hid his disdain for all things crimson and Cougar. He’d love to see his protégé head to sunny Southern California.
“I couldn’t be happier,” Monan said. “It would be a much better color of red on him.”
