Woodinville High School Golf Hitting its Stride

  • Written by Woodinville Weekly Staff
Calvin 1A year later and the Woodinville Boys Golf Team is doing pretty well and that’s after graduating a deep bunch of seniors led by Wyatt Mosher.  This year's senior class is much smaller but contains some fine talent led by Calvin McDonough. After starting off the season with a one-stroke loss to Lake Washington, the Falcons have slowly built momentum with a strong win over Bothell.  Another big win came at Issaquah, then against Juanita, and then Inglemoor. The only Northshore loss came against the upstart North Creek Jaguars. Now sitting in the middle of the Kingco Conference pack, the boys have a shot at a winning record but they will have to weather two powerhouse teams, Eastlake and Mt. Si.
The year finishes up with Senior Night on Oct 9th and then a Northshore Playoff on October 12 both at the team’s home course, The Golf Club at Echo Falls.
