Woodinville spotted Redmond an early touchdown and then reeled off four of its own, one in each quarter, to win 28-7 on the road.

The Falcon victory pushes its record to 3-0 in league play, 6-1 overall and sets up a showdown with Bothell (3-0, 4-3) for all the KingCo Crest Division marbles Friday at Pop Keeney Stadium.

The winner there will play top-ranked Skyline for the KingCo 4A championship.

Woodinville rushed for 265 yards, including 103 from Niko Llera.

In his last four starts since filling in for injured Wyatt Smith, Llera has rushed for 101, 96, 121 and 103 yards.

Reportedly, Smith will be back for the Bothell game.

The Falcon defense held the Mustangs to 78 yards on the ground, 56 in the air. Redmond lost four fumbles, was sacked three times and threw an interception. Woodinville committed one turnover.

Falcon quarterback Caleb Hamilton ran it three times for 70 yards and a touchdown. He was 12-21 through the air for 92 yards, including seven short ones to John Villasenor.

Woodinville will be the home team Friday at the Pop.

The Falcons defeated the Cougars 24-14 last year. Woodinville coach Wayne Maxwell is 2-6 all-time against Bothell.
