Inglemoor’s Emma Spenser scored in the 75th minute off a cross by Tessa Howard to beat Woodinville 1-0 in a critical game Thursday with both clubs on playoff life support.

The Lady Falcons (3-6, 4-8-1 overall) are tied for eighth place with Bothell in KingCo 4A play with one game remaining, but with the loss to the Lady Vikings have been mathematically eliminated from postseason play.

Inglemoor (3-4-2, 7-4-3) is in seventh place with hopes hanging by a thread. The playoff tournament features the top six finishers, and the Lady Vikings need to beat  Bothell (3-6, 6-8) Tuesday at Pop Keeney Stadium to get in the back door.

It’s the first time in nearly a decade Woodinville has not made the KingCo playoffs. Key injuries which stifled the offense firepower, and two last second double-overtime losses at home proved to be a killer.
