Northwest Equine Fashion Show & Benef it Auction - Supporting Warrior Families

  • Written by Valley View Staff

On April 28th, a local horse stable and equestrian center will be transformed into a venue for high fashion and elegance as the non-profit NWNHC Family Fund, in cooperation with local tack shops and pet stores, present the 4th Northwest Equine Fashion Show & Benefit Auction. The retailers will share their latest fashions for the horse, the human and the hound, while guests bid on dozens of equestrian items, getaway packages, tack and more in the silent and live auctions.

This benefit fashion show helps raise funds to support our military families who struggle with the challenges of overseas deployments and the realities of war. Through the NWNHC Family Fund’s annual Warrior Family Retreats, our military families participate in a three-day, all-expense-paid retreat, with equine-assisted therapists, horse trainers and counselors. For the past six years, the retreat has helped husbands and wives learn new life skills and reconnect as loving partners. It also has allowed their children to share their deployment experiences with other kids and enjoy stress-free, fun time with their parents.

The show features not only human models, but horses and dogs on the runway. Celebrity hound and star of the Treehouse Masters television show, Toasty Bun (aka Bun), leads the list of featured models.

The event takes place on April 28, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Northwest Natural Horsemanship Center, 32925 SE 46th St. in Fall City, Wash. Animal lovers and supporters of our military families can learn more and purchase tickets by visiting:

The NWNHC Family Fund is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit corporation based in Washington state and is a registered 501 (c) (3) charity (EIN 45-4536229).
