Flood and Emergency Preparedness Seminar - September 11
Are you new to the area and concerned about flooding? Did past windstorms leave you cold and in the dark? Join us at the Duvall Fire headquarters on Tuesday, September 11th at 7 p.m. for an informal presentation on how to prepare for winter weather in the lower Snoqualmie Valley. The presentation will include emergency preparedness basics and then take a closer look at flooding in the valley, including how often major floods occur, what you can do to prepare for floods, and learn what your local fire department does to provide emergency services during major flood events. This is presented by the Carnation Duvall Citizen Corps and Duvall King County Fire District 45. There is no cost to attend.
Duvall Fire headquarters is at 15600 First Ave NE, Duvall. Call Duvall Fire Battalion Chief Greg Bawden at 425-788-1625 if you would like additional information.
