The city of Duvall will be closing SR 203 at NE 143rd Place beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, July 17th. The closure is expected to last nine days with a re-opening planned to occur by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26th. Detour routes will be set up to bypass truck traffic and passenger vehicles around the closure area. The city will be sharing additional information and details as the closure dates approach.
The closure is necessary to allow for the replacement of an existing culvert that conveys Thayer Creek under SR 203 as well as NE 143rd. The work on 143rd will occur just after the 4th of July holiday, but is much less disruptive to local and regional traffic.
