Free Family Fun - July 15 & 16

  • Written by Valley View Staff

SandblastSandBlast Festival of the Arts, presented by the Duvall Foundation for the Arts (DFA), will be celebrating its 23rd year on Saturday, July 15 and Sunday, July 16th. Bring your whole family down to McCormick Park (26200 NE Stephens St, Duvall) and help build a huge sand sculpture. There will be artists booths, food vendors, kid’s activities, live bands in two locations, theatre performances, and of course the sand sculpture being created right in front of your eyes by world renowned artist Kali Bradford - And you! Bring your shovel and help carve out this year’s sand sculpture. This FREE, family friendly event is a gift to the City of Duvall by DFA, helping to promote art and art education in the Snoqualmie Valley.

Stop by their booth and pick up your collector’s SandBlast T-shirt. Watch their Facebook page for event updates or visit their website at duvallarts.org.
Each day begins at noon.  Bring your family and friends and stay all day!
