6th annual Snohomish Taste of Music kicks off on Friday, August 16
Historic downtown Snohomish presents the 6th annual Snohomish Taste of Music. Three days of delicious live music on six stages, Friday through Sunday, August 16 – 18.
For two years in a row, Snohomish Taste of Music has garnered the Washington state "Best in Blues Award" for a non-blues festival.
In 2012, Snohomish’s own WIRED Band (winner of the state semi-finals at the 2011 Taste of Music) won the coveted International Blues Challenge "Best in Blues" Award in Memphis, Tenn.
This year you’ll get the blues, but also jazz and funk, from artists including: Michael Shrieve (original drummer for Carlos Santana), multi-award winning singer Karen Lovely, Northwest favorite Bump Kitchen, plus many others, including Washington state finalists competing in the International Blues Challenge!
Only $5.00 per day gets you all-day access to the Main Stage and the "Libation Garden" located at the Carnegie Building, 105 Cedar Ave, Snohomish. All other daytime stages are free. BONUS: Main Stage wristband wearers are treated to food, beverage and shopping specials all around the historic district. For a complete list of participating "Taste Wristband Specials," go to www.TasteofMusic.org.
