The task of collecting and donating hundreds of warm winter coats to those in need is the latest challenge for the founder of an Eastside company that has provided organizational skills for hundreds of businesses and homeowners over the past decade.

Debbie Rosemont and employees of Simply Placed hope to collect more than 100 "gently used" coats to donate to the One Warm Coat charity to mark the 10-year anniversary of the company she established in her home office. Simply Placed has taught organized systems and productive habits to increase efficiency of local companies, including Costco, Microsoft, Comcast and the Seattle Seahawks/Sounders FC. The company has also helped hundreds of residential clients simplify their homes and assisted dozens of families deal with the stress of moving.

"Our clients have warmed our hearts" said Rosemont. "In return we’d like to spread the  warmth to others by donating clean, gently used coats and jackets to One Warm Coat, a national non-profit organization that distributes free coats to children, men and women in need."

The coat drive will kick off at the seventh annual Simply Placed Pre-Holiday Shopping Open House scheduled on Nov. 14 from 4:30– 8:30 p.m. at the company offices on SE 19th Ct. in Sammamish. Associates from Simply Placed will also pick up coats until Dec. 20 from clients of the firm and from various business and civic organizations that have agreed to participate.
