Monroe author releases debut knitting guidebook

  • Written by Valley View Staff

MONROE — “Quintessential Knits for Baby” by author Judith Quinton is a do-it-yourself knitting guidebook filled with different designs intended for babies. The pattern book is on its nationwide release this week.

From the Aviator and the Fancy Faerie hats to a Sweet Pea Pod and everything in between, “Quintessential Knits for Baby,” has something fun and whimsical to knit for that precious little someone.

Full color pages and easy to follow directions make this must-have pattern book one that will be enjoyed time and time again. Its compact size is a great fit for knitting bags too!

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.

Quinton is a wife, mother, portrait photographer, and, of course, a knitter! As full as the world is with technology, she believes there is still a need to create something with one’s own hands — something she has been both doing and teaching for most of her life. When she’s not playing with her camera or spending time with her family, she can be found in her favorite knitting chair working on her latest creation.

“Quintessential Knits for Baby” is her first book, so be sure to keep an eye out for more Quintessential Knits pattern books!
