Duvall Days celebrated 59 years this year and the annual event has become a showcase for some of the Pacific Northwest’s best musical acts.
From the parade to the Cow Pie Bingo; from the Kids petting zoo to the Boy Scouts’ coloring table; from the musical events to the micro-drone racing and the rock climbing wall, it was a Duvall Days event to remember. The musical offerings were comprehensive with bands including Birch Pereira and the Gin Joints, Champagne Honeybee, and Darci Carlson featured on the Main State at McCormick Park. Morgan Henley summed up the music.
A "Pooch Party" on Friday, May 31, 4 p.m., honored Eagle Scout Ikaika Ward and his friends from Scout Troop 745 who spent 600 hours creating an off-leash dog park at the Dougherty Farmstead, located on Cherry Valley Road across from the elementary school.
