Original Art by Terri Muharsky: Bruce C. Moore
DUVALL–The dividing line between light and dark, between reality and fantasy, between sanity and madness is often very thin. Cascade Community Theatre examines the flickering darkness of the mind of Edgar Allan Poe in its production of "Nightfall with Edgar Allan Poe," written by Eric Coble and directed by Richard Greenfield and Brian Pattinson.
In this eerie dramatization of four of Poe’s best tales, Mr. Poe desperately tries to convince himself – and us – that he’s not mad. The spell he weaves draws us into a highly theatrical adaptation of "The Raven," "The Fall of the House of Usher," "The Pit and the Pendulum" and "The Tell-Tale Heart."
Show dates are Friday, Oct. 30 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 31 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 1 at 2 p.m. and will be presented at Cedarcrest High School, 29000 NE 150th Street in Duvall. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for seniors and students. CCT delivers the chills just in time for Halloween so check your heartbeat at the door.
