Turn those turkey remains into a gourmet meal with recipe ideas and cooking tips from 21 Acres. With potatoes and onions harvested from the 21 Acres Farm, along with the freshest herbs and seasonings, your turkey leftovers and carcass will become a savory soup, hash or more.

Offered Monday, December 26, at 3 p.m., “Turkey – The Day After” is an opportunity to learn some new skills in the kitchen along with a special knife sharpening presentation.

Bring YOUR turkey leftovers with you in your roasting pan and prepare a delicious dinner to serve your family. Bring your kids and family members along at no extra charge!

Taught by 21 Acres visiting chef, Stix Hooper, “Turkey – the Day After” is offered as part of the inaugural Sustainable Cooking Series in the new Kitchen at the 21 Acres Center for Local Food and Sustainable Living.

Fee is $15 per person. Call (425) 481-1500, to reserve your place or register and pay on-line at:
