Have an adventure with one of America’s most remarkable adventurers, Helen Thayer. Thayer is a woman of courage and determination, with a lifetime of record-breaking expeditions and athletic championships.

She inspires men and women of all ages to live life without limits and achieve the impossible.

Thayer will speak Sunday, March 21, at 2 p.m. at the Northshore Senior Center, 10201 East Riverside Drive in Bothell.

She was already 50 when she traveled alone to the magnetic North Pole; at age 63 she walked the 1,600 miles across the Mongolian Gobi Desert; in another adventure, she lived with a family of Arctic wolves. She also took a kayaking expedition of 1,200 miles into a remote area of the Amazon. Want to know more about Helen Thayer? Go to her Web site at www.helenthayer.com.
