Woodinville Rotary Club invites the public to join Rotarians on April 22 at Molbak’s in Woodinville in celebration of the club’s fourth annual Earth Day wine tasting.
The festivities will be held in the event center at Molbak’s from 5 to 7:30 p.m. and features handcrafted wines from five of Woodinville’s leading wineries. The cost is $25 per person and proceeds support Rotary’s charitable giving focus on education, literacy and scholarships in environmental studies. Registration information can be found at www.molbaks.com/events.html. Featured wineries will include DeLille Cellars, Castillo de Feliciana, Brian Carter Cellars, Elsom Cellars and Dusted Valley. Each attendee will receive a commemorative wine glass from the Greater Grace Wine Appreciation Society.
Landau’s Catering will demonstrate the preparation and serving of fresh herb Marscarpone hors d’oeuvres. Informal demonstrations on growing herbs and creating spring container designs from a Master Gardner are also scheduled.
"What better location than Molbak’s to feature our appreciation for Mother Earth’s bounty," said club president Erv DeSmet. "And, we welcome members of the community with an interest in learning more about Rotary’s charitable giving and our work in the community and in support of international projects like the global eradication of polio. Since our charter nearly 25 years ago, Woodinville Rotary has given back more than $2 million to our community."
A limited number of registrations are available. For additional information, (425) 398-5138.
