Ken_GoodwinKen Goodwin, a commissioner for Woodinville Water District (WWD) for the past 15 years, has been appointed to a task force for the Washington Association of Sewer and Water Districts (WASWD) to provide recommendations for structural, organizational and operational changes to the WASWD. Goodwin’s background as a commissioner, his expertise as a recently retired finance manager for Alderwood Water and Wastewater District and his experience providing recommendations for reforming the King County Investment Pool were among the reasons he was selected to serve on the WASWD Task Force. Founded in 1996, WASWD represents 176 sewer and water districts, local government entities. The WASWD provides education and assistance for elected district commissioners and continuing education classes for certified water and wastewater treatment plant operators.
