Camp Korey summer kick-off

Camp_KoreyCamp Korey (28901 NE Carnation Farm Road, Carnation) will open their doors to the public for an inside look at the Carnation Farm property Sunday, June 5, from 1 to 3 p.m. All are invited to experience what the campers enjoy during their summer sessions and officially kick-off our summer season.

Guests will enjoy a wide range of fun camp activities such as guided hikes, indoor climbing wall, croquet and bocce ball, PGA swing lessons, SNAG golf, llama kissing booth and pet therapy animals, arts and crafts, face painting, self-guided tours with a scavenger hunt for prizes and special performances by their campers and The Not-Its! The Nestle Museum doors will also be open offering a rare look at the detailed history of the Carnation Farm property over the years.

Suggested donation is $10 per family. Dress up as your favorite superhero and be entered into the costume contest — your admission will be free!

Self-parking will be available on-site. Please follow the guest parking signs and volunteer attendants on arrival. Once you have parked, signs and volunteers will direct you on to campus.

You will be automatically entered to win any one of several fun prizes once you have completed your on-site registration card.

Though they are animal lovers, no outside animals will be allowed on campus. Please leave your furry family members safe and sound at home.

Attire for the Summer Kick-Off is casual.

The main campus where the event will be held is located on a hill, please wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to walk from location to location. Weather will play a key role in the event as each activity location is a short walk. Pack an umbrella should the forecast call for rain!

All guests will enjoy light snacks and drinks during the event.
