|Pet of the Week - June 20, 2011|

We don’t usually do re-runs of cats for the Cat of the Week, but Marilyn is certainly worthy of it. She has been with Homeward since last winter and has faced a series of challenges since we last featured her. We did discover that she is deaf, not a huge deal in cats as, let’s face it, cats don’t generally listen to us anyway. She has some kidney challenges, however right now she is feeling fine and content to just curl up in a human’s lap and purr. Marilyn was tolerant of some cats and dogs in her previous foster home. This pretty, petite diva likes to sleep on pillows next to her human and would be great company for a kind human with a big heart. This silver Persian gal has excellent litter box habits and a respectable appetite. We are looking for a long term foster home for Marilyn and Homeward will take care of any of her medical needs. We really don’t want to see Marilyn spend her golden years in our shelter. Can you help this special kitty?
