Sarah Kelm graduates from Moody

Sarah Higgins Kelm, daughter of John and Claudia Higgins of Carnation, Wash., graduated from the Biblical Studies major of the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago on May 14. Kelm, a 1997 graduate of Cedarcrest High School, received a bachelor of science degree.

The Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies program, in which Kelm studied, trains students in Bible, theology, ministry and general education.

Moody Bible Institute was founded by evangelist Dwight Lyman Moody in 1886. Its purpose is to equip and motivate people to advance the cause of Christ through ministries that educate, edify and evangelize.

Moody is best known for its education branch, which includes an undergraduate school, graduate theological seminary, aviation school and distance learning. Other Moody ministries include Moody Publishers and Moody Radio.
