Seattle Brews Paired with Fresh Trellis Fare on Aug. 9
KIRKLAND, Wash. (Aug. 1, 2011) –Trellis, a wine country-inspired restaurant that celebrates small scale, artisan products at the height of their seasonality, will host Pike Brewing Company co-founders Charles and Rose Ann Finkel for a beer pairing dinner on Tuesday, Aug. 9.
Founded in 1989 and located in downtown Seattle’s historic Pike Place Market, Pike Brewing Company brews world class beers and its portfolio includes 12 varieties of beer, nine year round.
In honor of Pike Brewing’s visit to Trellis, Chef Brian Scheehser has created a special dinner menu featuring fresh-picked, seasonal fruits and vegetables, and dishes including wild line-caught Salmon and cherry and apricot barbequed duck leg, among other selections. Each course will be paired with a variety of beers from Pike Brewing, including Pike IPA, Tandem Double Ale, Kilt Lifter Ruby Ale, Naughty Nellie Golden Artisan Ale, Monks Uncle Triple Ale and Pike Stout Extra Stout.
