Meet Nana! This one-and- a-half-year- old girl is a charming and affectionate dog who is looking for her forever home. Nana came to Homeward Pet after her previous owner’s living situation changed, and she’s now ready to meet potential adopters. Nana is a pit bull terrier mix with a friendly and sweet disposition. She loves to play with chew toys and enjoys daily exercise.
Nana‘s ideal owner is a homeowner with previous strong breed experience. She can be a little shy and nervous in new situations, but once she warms up, she is a loving and devoted companion. Nana would be best suited for children over the age of eight.
She knows a variety of cues such as sit, down, stay, wait, release and kennel up. Smart and eager to please, Nana will make a wonderful family companion. She weighs in at 58 pounds.
If you are interested in adding a people- oriented and affectionate dog to your life, consider Nana!
Homeward Pet will be able to help even more animals like Nana, when we move into a new building this fall. More than twice the size of the current facility, the new location will allow us to care for more animals and expand our veterinary clinic to provide more low-cost spay, neuter and microchip services.
Homeward Pet is funded entirely by private donations from generous supporters like you. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to the Homeward Pet New Building Fund at www.homewardpet.org today.
