LIVESTRONG coming to Woodinville

  • Written by Woodinville Weekly Staff

Sunday, October 2, is LIVESTRONG Day, the annual celebration of those who have survived cancer, their caregivers and the lives of those who have been lost to cancer. In Woodinville, many survivors, caregivers and friends will ride bicycles from the Y at the Carol Edwards Center to the Northshore YMCA on Beardsley Boulevard.   Cyclists will be wheeling along the Burke-Gilman Trail part of the way.  When they arrive at the Y, there will be bike safety checks by Greg’s Cycles of Lynnwood.   (If you are concerned, you can get your complimentary safety check before you ride.)

Not a cyclist?  Come show your support by creating an encouraging message.  There will be spaces set aside along the bike route and chalk will be provided.  The event is open to all at no charge and runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Michelle Rosen at This email address is being protected from spambots.
