Friends of the Woodinville Library will host its popular fall used book sale on Saturday, October 22, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The public is invited to shop for all manner of interesting subjects, including cooking, gardening, history and biography, computers, sports, travel, and hobbies – all priced at $1 or less. Current and classic fiction, both in paperback and hardback, are featured, plus children’s books, music CDs and movie DVDs. A preview sale for members of Friends of the Woodinville Library is on Friday, October 21, from 4:00-5:30 pm. FWL annual memberships ($5) are available in advance at the library and on the days of the sale.

Proceeds from used book sale support literacy programs for children and adults at Woodinville Library, such as summer reading programs, Game On days for teens, equipment and supplies and music performances. Donations can be dropped off at the library during regular hours. Not accepted are VHS and cassette tapes, magazines, and encyclopedias.  Please choose to recycle dirty and damaged books through other appropriate means.
