The fourth annual Art & Agriculture show presented by the Sammamish Valley Arts Center will be October 29-30 from noon to 4 p.m. Fine art with an agriculture theme created by local artists will be exhibited in the greenhouses at Olympic Nursery (16215 140th Pl NE, Woodinville). The exhibit is free and open to the public. In addition to viewing some great artwork, the public is invited to create a grapevine wreath with members of the Sammamish Valley Alliance at a suggested donation of $20 to support farming in the Sammamish Valley. Local historian, author and artist Helen McMahon will be signing her children’s book from 1-2 p.m. Hot apple cider and cookies will be served. Peruse the agricultural themed art by local artist and try your hand at making a grapevine wreath from local grapevines. A portion of the artwork sales will benefit two local non-profits organizations: Sammamish Valley Arts Center in support of local artists and art in the community and the Sammamish Valley Alliance in support of Sammamish Valley Farmers.
