On Thursday, December 15, at 5 p.m., you can enjoy an inexpensive, quality meal with friends. Make new friends or bring family and friends and enjoy a great home-cooked meal.
This month the menu features tamales, salad, rice, dessert, coffee, a special beverage and a piñata — all for $5.
You’re also invited to the monthly pancake breakfast at the East County Senior Center on Saturday, December 17, 8-10:30 a.m. Enjoy a wonderful meal of pancakes, eggs, ham, sausage, coffee, milk and juice prepared and served by a volunteer crew. The pancake breakfast is every third Saturday of each month. Cost for adults is $5 and children under 12 are $3. After expenses, all proceeds are used for the general operating funds of the senior center. This fundraiser is organized and operated by seniors. It has been a tradition here in the Valley for over 35 years and is a wonderful place to bring your family for a great home-cooked meal. No reservations are required.
The dinner and pancake breakfast are served at the East County Senior Center (276 Sky River Parkway, Monroe). Call (360) 794-6359 for more information.
