Pet of the Week - Nov. 28, 2011

  • Written by Homeward Pet Adoption

POWRudyRudy is an outgoing and personable dog who was rescued from an overcrowded California shelter. Desperately needing another option, he and a bunch of others managed to hop a transport headed north.

Eventually, little Rudy found himself among new friends at Homeward Pet.  Thankful to be safe and sound, he’s now on the lookout for his new home. When he’s not keeping a close eye on the adoption room door, he loves to snuggle up in his blankets so he’s secure and warm. He’d just prefer to find a person to snuggle with!

Rudy can be a bit shy at first, but it certainly doesn’t last long. His spunky personality quickly becomes apparent as his playful side emerges. Rudy loves attention whether it’s from people or other dogs. He’s made multiple canine buddies during his stay here, and really looks forward to social time. Although he hasn’t met cats before, he would have no problem sharing a house with another dog, especially if his new housemate is similar in size.

Come to Homeward Pet to meet Rudy!  We’re located at 13132 NE 177th Place in Woodinville.  Our shelter is open for visitors between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday. See all our adoptable dogs, cats, kittens and puppies at www.homewardpet.org.

This holiday season, you can help Homeward Pet help animals and families in need in our community.

Beginning Friday November 25th, drop off a dog or cat food donation at select Pet Pros locations, or bring your donation to Homeward Pet between 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.  See www.homewardpet.org for more information.
